Our post-Institute survey showed similar feelings: the campus got ratings of 4 or 5 from over 87% of attendees who responded; the food received ratings of 4 or 5 from over 65% of the attendees who responded. Some of the comments we received include:

  • The campus was very welcoming and beautiful.
  • Greatly appreciated the healthy food options for choice.
  • I thought the campus venue and the hotel were both outstanding. I really appreciated the shuttle. I was very impressed by the food.

This a most sincere note of gratitude for all your help and hard work preparing and executing last night’s event. We received a lot of positive feedback on the space, set up and food. On behalf of the Connecticut Technology Council, and personally from me – THANK YOU! Please make sure you thank all your staff we were not able to thank in person – they were very helpful throughout the event.

Milena Erwin, Executive Director, CT Technology Council

Since 2015 Connecticut Odyssey of the Mind has held its annual creativity tournament for youth at SCSU. The campus has comfortably accommodated our tournament guests even in years when attendance reached almost 3,000. We have rented several of the buildings, including the gym, classrooms, lecture halls, Lyman Center, and all have been clean, well-equipped with modern technology, and set up by SCSU staff according to our needs. Parking is capacious and the campus is easy to navigate. Administrative staff have been easy to work with and attentive in planning for our needs, including assisting us with creating maps of campus, providing food service, and assisting in building supervision and security. We can heartily recommend holding your next event at their conveniently located and spacious modern campus.

Yolanda Preysner, CTOM, Inc. Board Member State, Finals Tournament Coordinator

On behalf of the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Steering Committee, I am so thankful for all the work that the ASC-Personnel put into setting up Connecticut Hall and the Adanti Student Center during Juan González’s visit to our campus.  The tables for the meals we hosted were beautifully decorated and the ballroom was very professionally organized and set up.

Carmen Coury, Ph.D, Associate Professor of History Director of Latin American & Caribbean Studies

The facility is the heart of campus and showcases our events wonderfully!  The support and technology needs are always top notch and catering is wonderful.  The staff is friendly and responsive, and I enjoy holding our events there throughout the year.

Lisa Galvin, Ed.D., Associate Dean of Graduate Enrollment Management School of Graduate and Professional Studies

The Conference and Events team provides a comprehensive approach to the event process. Their attention to planning regarding event specifics and setup, real-time assistance during the event, and follow-up post-event are great. We’ve hosted internal and external events through the Adanti Student Center, and each time has been a pleasure.
